Irving J. Lee, eminent Northwestern University professor of public speaking, presents six lectures on general semantics collectively titled Talking Sense, from the 1952 televised series Of Men and Ideas.


Sense and Nonsense Lectures by Alfred Fleishman

Alfred Fleishman, former director of the International Society for General Semantics and co-founder of public relations firm Fleishman-Hillard, presents three lectures on general semantics collectively titled Sense and Nonsense with Words: A Discussion about Human Communication and Human Relations.

This condensed lecture is from a lecture series for the Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce, St. Louis, Missouri, c.1996.

Bob Pula Interview

Robert P. Pula, an eminent scholar on Alfred Korzybski and general semantics, talks in this three-part interview about how he developed his interest in Korzybski and general semantics, Korzybski’s ancestry and early life in Poland, his books Manhood of Humanity and Science and Sanity, as well as the importance of Korzybski’s biography, which he had been working on for some time.

This interview was recorded on November 16th, 2003.
